An apparatus for multidirectionally magnetizing ferrous parts and components with no physical contact therewith which application may be extended to all ferrous components whose magnetization is required, e.g., for the purpose of carrying out non-destructive crack detection tests, as well as for other uses, which apparatus basically distinguishes in that it overcomes a number of inconveniences inherent to the conventional techniques such as the physical and/or electrical contact between the magnetizing heads and the parts, whereby the test can be faster, more efficient and safer specially by virtue of the generation of a multidirectional magnetic field which, in addition to other features, provides the equipment used in this process with high technology characteristics. |
