An infrared LED mouse system is provided to prevent incorrect operation caused from interference infrared by outputting the infrared from plural infrared LEDs arranged in a predetermined pattern and detecting a plurality of infrared beams forming the pattern. An infrared LED mouse(100) outputs infrared beams from a plurality of infrared LEDs formed to one side and includes a mouse button. A camera(106) captures the infrared beams output from the infrared LEDs by including an infrared filter and transmits image information of the captured infrared beams to a computer(108). The computer performs user interface related to mouse operation by using the image information received from the camera and mouse button input information received from the infrared LED mouse. The infrared LEDs are arranged in a predetermined pattern. A location of the infrared LED mouse is traced by detecting a plurality of infrared beams corresponding to the pattern when the camera processes the image information of the captured infrared beams. |
