An apparatus for preventing drop of a slide core is provided to allow a slide core to operate regardless of gravity. An apparatus for preventing drop of a slide core comprises a first fixed plate(10) installed at a fixed side of a molding apparatus and has a first disc plate(11). A second fixed plate(20) is installed at a movable side of the molding apparatus and has a second disc plate(21) while being selectively in close contact with the first mold plate. A slide core(25) is installed at the second disc plate so that the slide core moves in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the first disc plate is spaced from the second disc plate. A core support pin(35) has an elastic member(37) that provides elastic force to the slide core. The core support pin includes a cylindrical body(36) and the elastic member that supports the body and has a diameter larger than that of the body.
