<p>A hydraulic device for massaging and lymphatically draining a part (1) of the human body. The device is a massage apparatus using hydraulic pressure, and includes at least one chamber (2) which covers said body part and contains a fluid (3) flowing in the massaging direction at a variable pressure (p). The chamber (2) cannot be deformed merely by said pressure (p), and the fluid flow (3) therein undergoes a certain head loss in each portion of the chamber (2) depending on the fluid flow rate and pressure at the chamber inlet (5). The head loss occurs either because the chamber (2) is filled with a reduced-permeability porous medium (4), or because said fluid (3) is highly viscous, or else because the outer wall (7) of the chamber (2) is porous and permeable and therefore allows the fluid to leak out through spread-out pores or through openings (19).</p> |
