The system allows a sewer pipe of a through sewer to be used for reverse flow prevention of all kinds of sewage. It has a body with access shaft, end connecting unions, and a removable sealing cover. It comprises two alternative insert sets (A) for the shaft in the body (2), each comprising a sealing cover (11) and a non-return flap valve (12,13) coupled to the cover. The flap valves are respectively for different kinds of sewage, e.g. rain water and faeces. The flap valves of the first insert normally swing freely in front of the opening, while those of the second one are under normal conditions held to leave the opening unobstructed.
