Appts. has two toothed members rotating on shafts in housing which is fitted with inlet and outlet for the material concerned. The housing itself has plate holding these members. cover plate on each side to hold the shafts, and bell-shaped component by each cover plate to form the enclosure and to provide bearings for the ends of the shafts. The toothed members produce the feed and can be driven singly or together. Their core dia. is about the same as that of the shafts. The shafts have spiral return flow bores connected to chambers in the bell-shaped components to take leakage material, and those chambers have outlet bores. The spiral return flow bores in the shaft or the inner cover of the coaxially outer housing are tapered down to nil in the direction of feed. ADVANTAGE - The system is free from any axial leakage problems at the shafts. It has efficient return flow.
