Clamp for grinding slide of tooth flank grinder - has only one clamping interface on column for swivel and height adjustment of reciprocating grinding slide
摘要
The grinding slide (3) of the tooth flank grinder is driven from a motor (5) to reciprocate with a given stroke along the guideways of a slide carrier plate (2) which locates against the face of the column (1) in a vertical plane X. Running down the face of the column are two straight and parallel clamping slots. In the mating face of the slide carrier plate is a circular clamping slot (9) of diameter rather greater than the distance apart of the slots (7,8); there are therefore four intersections (K1 to K4). At each intersection is a hydraulic clamping bolt which when slackened allows the carrier plate and grinding slide to be pivoted about a horizontal axis. ADVANTAGE - Only one clamping interface is required for the two movements. Accurate, stable system.
