The generator has two identical magnetic frames with permanent magnets, located at the poles of a coil with an iron core. A soft iron rod is supported for rotation at the centre of each magnetic frame, the rods lying at 90 degrees to one another and coupled together via an axis which is rotated by a motor. The coupling axis carries a flywheel, for obtaining uniform running of the generator, the electrical output being obtained from the coil. USE - Efficient generation of electrical energy with small mechanical input, i.e. only that required to overcome bearing friction losses.
