Weighing large vehicle-mounted replaceable container - raising container with vehicle-mounted pressure cylinders and evaluating their pressure difference in loaded and unloaded states

The method involves mounting the container (24) on the vehicle chassis (10), raising it w.r.t. the chassis by pressure cylinders (42) and measuring the cylinder pressure difference between the loaded and unloaded states. The pressure differences are fed into an evaluation unit which derives weight values. The vehicle for carrying the container has a lifting mechanism with at least two hydraulic pressure cylinders. ADVANTAGE - Container can be weighed without removal from vehicle and partial loads can be weighed into vehicle from store without driver leaving his seat.
