The device has at least one hollow greasing roller with a grease- permeable jacket. The jacket has an outer grease distribution layer. The roller is held on a hollow shaft, with grease passages, which is located in the device frame. A body (19) with a multitude of pore-like openings is located in an axial part of the greasing roller (10). It is positioned between hollow shaft (20) and grease distribution layer (12), or between hollow shaft and jacket surface (18) of the greasing roller. The pores are of different widths. The body may consists of a sieve, a non-woven material, a sinter layer, etc. USE/ADVANTAGE - More even grease volume flow over across complete axial length of hollow shaft during rolling process.
