On at least one area of the object surface is applied a coating on to which the laser beam for application of the desired marking is directed. For marking of the object at high temp., a contrast medium sheet of a temp.-reacting material is applied, then the laser beam is directed on the contrast sheet. This contrast sheet is a metal resinate. The temp.-reacting material for the contrast sheet is fitted on not yet cooled material of the object. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used to mark an object by laser beam at high temp. without any colour alteration occurring.
