Low-density ethylene copolymers obtainable by adding an aromatic hydrocarbon solution of a catalyst system containing, as active constituents, metallocene complexes of metals from sub-group IV and V of the Periodic Table and oligomeric aluminium oxide compounds, to a mixture containing ethylene, comonomers and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
