Building protection against gas esp. radon ingress

(A) Buildings are protected against ingress of dangerous gases, esp. radon, from the ground by provision of a barrier system of several horizontal layers between the ground and the interior of the building, the barrier system sides being bound by the vertical walls of the building. Air is fed into an interlayer between the layers preventing air and gas passage to produce an air pressure different from atmos. pressure, the air flowing through and out of the interlayer to flush out the dangerous gases. (B) Equipment for carrying out the process is also claimed.
