INTERCONVERT INSTRUMENT OF PCM/ADPCM DATA

The apparatus converts mutually PCM and ADPCM having matching ability with a conventional I/O device and improved efficiency of transmission and memorizing. It includes a central controlling section (110) for controlling the apparatus, a time slot control section (120) for generating the frame synchronizing signal of time slots, a PCM decoder (130) for converting analog signal to μ-P PCM signal or reversely, and ADPCM transcoding section (150) for transmitting the μ-P PCM signal to the central controlling section (110) or the ADPCM data to the PCM decoder (130), and a PCM matching section (140) for matching the output of the PCM decoder (130) to a PCM subway.
