A printed wiring board capable of performing electric connection to external equipment comprises a base material 1, one or more connecting terminals 3 formed on the base material for effecting electrical connection to the external equipment, a terminal circuit 4 connected to the connecting terminal 3, and a solder resist layer 5 formed on the base material in such manner that a region excluding the region 6 in which the connecting terminals are formed is covered. A conduction protective layer 7 covers the connecting terminals, the end portion of the solder resist layer is separated from the end portion of the conductive protective layer, and an overcoat layer 8 is formed on the separating portion and bridges between an end portion of the solder resist layer 5 and an end portion of the conductive protective layer 7. <IMAGE> |
