PURPOSE:To provide a small and inexpensive visual sense inspecting device capable of correctly inspecting the diameter and circularity of a cylindrical or bar-like object with one image pickup device. CONSTITUTION:Surface light sources 17, 18 perpendicular to each other are formed with a light source 15 and an L-shaped diffusion plate 16. A pair of reflecting mirrors 19, 20 are arranged in parallel with each other at positions faced to the surface light sources 17, 18, and a half-mirror 21 is arranged in parallel with the reflecting mirrors 19, 20 at the intermediate position between the reflecting mirrors 19, 20. An image pickup device 14 is arranged in the direction that the light from one surface light source 17 is transmitted to the half-mirror 21 and in the direction that the light from the other surface light source 18 is reflected. The transmission light image and the reflection light image generated by the image pickup device 14 are fed to an image processing device 11 to be image-processed, and the diameter of an object 4 is inspected. |
