PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet for thermal transfer recording which has good adhesiveness with an ordinary paper and excellent cutting characteristics of the boundary between a heat applied part and a heat unapplied part when heat transfer of an image receiving layer is performed by making the image receiving layer into a structure wherein a transparent receiving layer and a white hiding layer are successively laminated on a base material and incorporating a plasticizer in the white hiding layer. CONSTITUTION:In a sheet for thermal transfer recording wherein a image receiving layer 4 which is transferable on an objective recording paper by heat is provided on a base material 1, the image receiving layer 4 is made into a structure wherein a transparent receiving layer 2 and a white hiding layer 3 are successively laminated on the base material 1 and a plasticizer is incorporated into the white hiding layer 3. This sheet for thermal transfer recording exhibits excellent adhesiveness to a wide range of ordinary papers and good cutting characteristics of the end part of the transferred image receiving layer. In addition, there is no influence of color of the paper to the ordinary paper and color reproducibility is good and a clear image can be formed and furthermore, an image with deepness and high concn. can be obtd. |
