PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer image receiving sheet wherein a formed image exhibits excellent light fastness and the effect of an ultraviolet ray absorbing material does not disappear during storage and can exist stably in a dye receiving layer by incorporating at least one compd. of a specified formula in the dye receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:In a heat transfer image receiving sheet wherein a dye receiving layer is formed on at least one face of a base material sheet, at least one of compd. of formulas I and/or II are incorporated. In these formulas, R1-R8 are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a 1-12C alkoxy group etc., (n) is an integer of 0-4; (m) is an integer of 1-3; X is a =C (R9)(R10) etc., or a linear or branched alkylene group divided by at least one Z; Y is-O-R13-O-and Z is-O-, etc.; R9-R12 are each a hydrogen atom, a 1-12C alkyl group etc.; R13 is a linear or a branched alkylene group. Vaporizing properties and extracting properties can be improved thereby the effect of an ultraviolet ray absorbing material does not fail. |
