<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate the error and to accurately measure the displacement by disposing sensors at invariable positions from one another and measuring the surface in the opposite or faced direction. CONSTITUTION: A position sensor 3 and a reference component 7 have surfaces 8, 9 substantially parallel to one another. Further, sensors 4, 5 are disposed at invariable positions to measure the surfaces 8, 9 in opposite direction, i.e., in oppositely faced direction or faced direction, i.e., confronted direction. The surfaces 8, 9 of the sensor 3 and component 7 are opposed. The sensors 4, 5 are disposed between the surfaces 8 and 9, i.e., between the sensor 3 and the component 7 to measure in the opposite direction to the surfaces 8, 9. Thus, the axial displacement of the sensor 3 generated at the time of transmitting torque can be measured as a differentially moved amount.</p> |
