PURPOSE:To produce a pneumatic snow tire capable of effectively enhancing a coefficient of friction on an iced or snowcovered road surface without the occurrence of a defect by a method wherein each block provided with vent spew cut marks, one or two vent spew cut marks are provided for every block. CONSTITUTION:In each of blocks 1a, 2a disposed in proximity to a tread center X-X, one vent spew is formed between a sipe end disposed in proximity to the side edge thereof on the side of a tread end and said side edge. In each of blocks 3a, 4a disposed on the tread ends, one vent spew is formed between a sipe end disposed on the center of the block in circumferential direction of the tire and the side edge thereof. Vent spew cut marks 5b, 6b, 7b, and 8b are respectively provided for every block by cutting the respective spews. In this manner, since only one vent spew cut mark exists in each of the blocks 1a, 2a, 3a, and 4a, the tread is improved in contact properties on the ground, and a coefficient of friction on an iced or snowcovered road surface is increased. |
