PURPOSE: To provide a closure which can be simply fixed to the aperture of a receptacle without a cap containing liquid, solid or gaseous product and can used as a cap thereafter. CONSTITUTION: A closure for a receptacle 2 comprises an annular body that is attached to the upper part or neck part 3 of the receptacle 2, and a cap 5a that is attached to the above annular body by connecting mechanism and has the same shape as a rim 4 of the receptacle. The annular body is provided with an attaching mechanism to attach to the upper part or the neck part 3 of the receptacle 2 and provides the receptacle with a closing mechanism for tightly attaching the cap to the receptacle 2.
