PURPOSE:To prevent decline of electrification and to restrain occurrence of abnormal images for electrophotographic sensitive bodies even in the case where the electrophotographic sensitive bodies are placed in the atmosphere of reactive gas by a method wherein a packing material made of polymeric film or packing paper is made to contain antioxidant. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic sensitive body is made by placing a single sensitive layer 12 over, for instance, a conductive substrate 11. Packing to be made for preservation and for shipment of the electrophotographic sensitive body in order to prevent the same from being exposed to light is made by such material that contains antioxidant. The packing material is also made of polymeric film. The packing material may also be made of packing paper. Thereby decline of electrification and occurrence of abnormal images can be restrained even in the case where the electrophotographic sensitive body is placed in the atmosphere of reactive gas such as O3, NOx, and SOx. |
