PURPOSE:To particularly improve productivity and glossiness by a method wherein a polyester film containing specific parts by weight of titanium dioxide is laminated on either or both surfaces of a polyester film containing a large number of fine voids, and the film is at least uniaxially oriented. CONSTITUTION:A polyester film containing 10-50 pts.wt. titanium dioxide is laminated on either or both surfaces of a polyester film containing a large number of fine voids, and the film is at least uniaxially oriented. The void- containing polyester film constructed in this manner is similar to a conventional void-containing polyester film obtained by using a polystyrene or a polyolefin as a void generator in light weight, flexibility, hiding property, drawing property, and the like. In addition, this film has not a glossiness as high as the conventional film, therefore making a high-quality impression. Furthermore, this film having a high productivity can be used at a low cost in the wide range of field, such as labels, posters, recording paper, and packaging materials, in comparison with the conventional film. |
