PURPOSE:To prevent a printing head from becoming scorched by providing an introduction hole in a core block of high thermal conductivity material formed integrally with a magnet and introducing a temperature detection element through the hole, in the printing head which performs printing by driving a printing wire using the magnet. CONSTITUTION:A printing head 1 performs printing by driving a printing wire 10 with the help of a magnet. In this printing head, a core block of high thermal conductivity material is formed integrally with a magnet 5 and has an introduction hole 8a, through which a temperature detection element 26 is introduced. That is, the temperature detection element 26 is set at a fixed position using the introduction hole 8a. Subsequently, no irregular thermal conduction occurs from the core block 8 to the temperature detection element 26, resulting in the constant temperature detection of a solenoid coil 4. Thus the printing head can by prevented from becoming scorched. |
