PURPOSE:To provide a material exhibiting excellent conductivity at low temp. CONSTITUTION:Prescribed amts. of starting materials are mixed, calcined in a crucible in the presence of oxygen and pelletized. The resulting pellets are sintered in the presence of oxygen to obtain a super ion-conductive oxide material made of a compd. having a compsn. represented by a formula A3B2XO8 (where A is one or more among Ca, Sr and Ba, B is one or more among Sc, Y, La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er and Tm, and X is one or more among Zr, Hf and Ce). This material is applicable to a solid fuel cell acting at low temp. |
