PURPOSE:To provide the subject bundle composed of polyester monofilaments having recesses on the fiber surface and polyester monofilaments having protrusions on the fiber surface, having moderate surface gloss and moderate matte appearance resembling human hair and useful for wig, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective polyester monofilament bundle for artificial hair suitable as a fibrous material to fill up the hair of wig, hair wig, false hair, hair band, etc., or to be applied to the hair or head for the purpose of finery is produced by repeating the process for blending and doubling (A) 5-95 polyester monofilaments having 0.1-10 recesses having the maximum length of 2-30mum on 100mum<2> of the fiber surface and (B) 95-5 polyester monofilaments having 10<3> to 10<5> protrusions having a height of 0.5-8mum from the fiber surface per 1mm<2> of the surface of the fiber. |
