PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a fine particle-shaped metal oxide suitable for use as starting material for ceramics, a filler for plastic, paint, adhesives, etc., and a flowability improver. CONSTITUTION:An aq. soln. of a metallic salt and an aq. soln. of a neutralizing agent are simultaneously added to an aq. dispersion or soln. of a carboxylic acid compd. to form fine particles of the hydroxide or hydrate of the above- mentioned metal and these particles are fired. A fine particle-shaped metal oxide is produced. |
