摘要 PURPOSE: To prevent rattle from occurring in a transmission apparatus by providing a structure allowing gears mounted to a pair of parallel shafts to be engaged to or disengaged from the shafts through clutch means respectively, thus performing drive connection between a torque input shaft and a torque output shaft through a transmission means. CONSTITUTION: In a constant-mesh transmission apparatus for carrying out torque transmission between a shaft (torque output shaft) 44 arranged coaxially with a torque input shaft and a shaft 112 arranged in parallel with the shaft 44, each of the shafts 44, 112 is provided with a gear set including a first gear 58 and a second gear 144. The gear 58 serving as a main gear and the gear 144 serving as a rearward gear are engaged with or disengaged from the shaft 44, 122 through a first clutch means 178 and a second clutch means 188, respectively. Further, a second gear set comprising a third gear 68 supported by the shaft 44 and a fourth gear 120 supported by the shaft 112 in the state of constant-meshing with the gear 68 is provided. The fourth gear 120 is engaged to or disengaged from the shaft 112 via a third clutch means 198.
