PURPOSE:To obtain an air conditioner which is capable of preventing the outside leakage of noise of a compressor, while inhibiting the generation of heat in electric equipment. CONSTITUTION:The main body 101 of an air conditioner is segmented into a fan chamber 103, a compressor chamber 104 and an electric equipment chamber 2 by means of partitioning boards 102 and 1. A suction air inlet 3 is installed to an outer frame of the main body 101 while an exhaust air outlet 109 is installed to a partitioning board 102 which partitions the electric equipment chamber 2 and fan chamber 103. The heat of an electric equipment article 107 generated by driving the air conditioner is cooled by the air which is forced to flow by the suction air force generated by an air supply fan 105 in a flow passage which runs from the suction air inlet 3 by way of the electric equipment chamber 2 up to an exhaust air outlet 109. On the other hand, as for the noise generated by a compressor 106, the partitioning boards 102 and 1 prevent the leakage of the noise from the main body 101 to the outside. |
