PURPOSE:To obtain a device capable of liquefying a large amount of a lignocellulose substance such as woody flour by high-pressure method on a production scale, consisting of a high-pressure reactor, a chemical solution feeder, a heating medium heating and circulating device, a stirrer and a pressurizing and evacuating device. CONSTITUTION:In the objective device, a lignocellulose substance such as woody floor is fed to a high-pressure reactor (A) and a proper amount of a solvent (e.g. phenol) is supplied from a chemical solution feeder (B) through a piping unit to the reactor (A). Then, a heating medium having a temperature controlled by a heating medium heating and circulating device (C) is recycled and circulated to heat the reactor (A) to a given temperature, the reactor (A) is adjusted to proper pressure by a pressurizing and evacuating device (E), the lignocellulose is stirred with the solvent in the reactor (A) and reacted to liquefy the lignocellulose substance. The liquefying device can liquefy a large amount of a lignocellulose substance (e.g. residual wood, rice straw or rice hulls) on a production scale. |
