发明名称 HIGHLY IMPACT-RESISTANT GLASS FIBER-REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composite material increased in usage as a raw material for weight reduction, also effective for the energy saving in mobile machines, etc., by incorporating a thermoplastic resin with specific reinforcing glass fibers at a specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a dispersion is prepared by dispersing (A) 20-70wt.% of reinforcing glass fibers having 7-50mm fiber length (10-60wt.% thereof maintaining a form of unopened chopped strands) and (B) 30-80wt.% of a granular thermoplastic resin in (C) a surfactant-contg. aqueous medium with fine air bubbles dispersed therein. Then, this dispersion is put to papermaking process using a porous substrate into a sheet-like web, which is then subjected to both heating and pressurization and solidified, thus obtaining the objective composite material.
