PURPOSE:To suppress the variation in the specific gravity of a slurry and prevent the falling of a fluorescent layer by supplying intermittently little by little a supplementary slurry to a slurry tank for injection during a period that a liquid level controller reaches the control level of the liquid level. CONSTITUTION:The fluorescent slurry 6 to be injected in a given amount into the glass panel 1 is supplied through the electromagnetic valve 7 from the slurry injection tank 5 equipped with the stirring device 4. Also, in the slurry tan 5 fitted with the liquid level controller 16, the slurry is supplied from the supplementary slurry tank 19 as the liquid level falls but intermittently little by little by the operation of the electromagnetic valve 22 for supplementation by an electrical circuit including a timer, etc., until the slurry reaches the control level of the liquid level. Thus, the variation in the specific gravity of the fluorescent slurry can be controlled to a minimum and thereby the adhesion of it to the fluorescent screen can be increased, thus preventing the falling of the fluorescent layer. |
