PURPOSE:To ensure a refrigerator in those where there is provided on a ceiling of a freezing chamber a door duct for guiding cold air to a closed space formed inside the door, said refrigerator including in a duct an illumination chamber such that light from an in-refrigerator lamp reaches the rear portion of the freezing chamber. CONSTITUTION:Rack covers 36A, 36B are provided rotatably on an inner plate 33 of a freezing chamber door 4, and a space K is formed which is substantially closed with an inner plate 33, a rack 35, and a rack cover 36. A refrigerator includes a blow-off outlet 42 provided on a ceiling of the refrigerator chamber at the tip end thereof and further includes an illumination chamber 45 located rearwardly of the blow-off outlet and shielded from cold air flowing through the inside of a duct. |
