PURPOSE:To form a polystyrol foam article having a predetermined shape by applying bending molding to a polystyrol type foam plate without using a mold. CONSTITUTION:A tensile strength sheet 2 is bonded to the surface of a polystyrol type foam plate 1 and the tensile strength sheet bonded polystyrol type foam plate 1 is bent in the direction allowing tensile force to act on the tensile strength sheet 2 and the max. tensile strain of the polystyrol type foam plate is set to 15.0% or less.
