AN EXTERNAL HEATING, ROTARY FURNACE An external heating, rotary furnace for indirectly heating materials which are liable to be oxidized. The furnace comprises a rotary furnace body (20) which comprises the following rotary members capable of rotating therewith and being integral therewith: a core chamber (5) located at the center of the rotary furnace body (20) and defined by polygons made of heat resistant ceramics(4); and, plural heating-gas chambers (6) formed around the core chamber (5).
