PURPOSE:To produce porous composite which is suitably useful as a insulation and shock absorption material by mixing bean-curd (Tofu) refuse and chitosan under acidic conditions, followed by neutralization, freezing and thawing. CONSTITUTION:Bean-curd refuse and chitosan are mixed under acidic conditions, neutralized, frozen and thawed to give the objective porous composite. The acid is, for example, citric, acetic, lactic or hydrochloric acid. The alkali for neutralization is, for example, sodium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide. |
