PURPOSE:To provide the title safe, inexpensive therapeutic agent having skin tissue regenerating function-promoting activity along with antibacterial activity and humectant and cleaning effect, useful for the prevention and therapies of various kinds of dermatosis, comprising an extract of rice obtained by using water or organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:The objective dermatotherapeutic agent comprising an extract of rice obtained by using water or an organic solvent. The extract of rice obtained by using water can be produced by the following method: ground or powdered rice is incorporated with 2 to 5wt. times of water followed by heating to a boiling state, and the resulting extract is squeezed and filtered. In this case, to prevent gelatinization, it is recommended that amylase be added to cause reaction or the starch decomposed with e.g. hydrochloric acid. |
