PURPOSE:To avoid air from being sucked into an ink container by a method wherein pressure in the ink container is enabled to be adjusted according to fine ink consumption. CONSTITUTION:For an ink container, an opening part of one end surface of a cylindrical outer case 1 of which the other end surface is closed with a bottom plate 4, is closed with a flexible component, 2 consisting of flexible materials such as rubber, soft plastics, etc., and ink 6 is contained in its inside. A marginal part of the flexible component 2 is fixed to an end surface of the opening part of the outer case 1, and the flexible component 2 is composed of an outer wall part 2a, a bent part 2b, an inner wall part 2c, and a bottom wall part 2d. The bent part 2b is moved along the inner wall surface of the outer case 1 following consumption of the ink 6 in the ink container, and is irreversibly deformed. |
