<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a component discharge value estimating apparatus for an exhaust gas which can estimate values of harmful components in a combus tion gas to be discharged from an engine without using any special detection device. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is provided with a basic discharge value computing means 37 to calculate basic discharge values of specific components in an exhaust gas from an engine 11 based on detection signals from an engine rotational speed sensor 28 and a boosting pressure sensor 19 and a correction discharge value computing means 38 which calculates a discharge correction value of the specific component based on detection signal from an air-fuel ratio sensor 35 while adding the discharge correction value to the basic discharge value to calculate a correction discharge value. Moreover, a catalyst purification ratio computing device is provided to calculate the purification ratio of a catalyst converter 33 and a final discharge value computing means 39 which corrects the correction discharge value based on the detection signal from the catalyst purification ratio computing device to calculate a final discharge value.</p> |
