<p>PURPOSE:To provide a drying device of high space efficiency by charging flat workpieces into a plurality of retaining grooves radially extending on the respective inner sides of a pair of rotary discs, and taking out the workpieces with a takeout means after reversing the workpieces via the rotation of the discs. CONSTITUTION:A pair of disc walls 4 and 4 are supported with a horizontal shaft 3 on a bracket 2 erected on a support base 1, in such a way as freely rotatable. In addition, a plurality of recessed grooves 5 are radially formed on the inner side of each disc wall 4 at an equal angular gap. Flat workpieces 6 carried sequentially along an inlet guide rail 11 are charged and retained one by one into space between the opposite grooves 5 and 5 with a slide charging mechanism 9. In this holding state, the walls 4 and 4 are turned by 180 degrees, thereby reversing the workpieces 6. During this rotation, the workpieces 6 are dried with the dry hot air supplied from a feed port 19 and discharged from an exhaust port 20. Also, each flat workpiece 6 after turned by 180 degrees is taken out to an outlet guide rail 12 with a slide take-out mechanism 10.</p> |
