PURPOSE:To obtain the subject lubricant highly soluble in CFC 134a, etc., also capable of giving excellent scorching resistance and resistance to moisture absorption by incorporating a synthetic oil with a specific chlorinated fatty acid ester and epoxy compound at specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricant is obtained by incorporating (A) 100 pts.wt. of a synthetic oil such as a polyoxyalkylene glycol (modified product) with (B) 0.1-20 pts.wt., on a chlorine basis, of a chlorinated fatty acid ester produced by chlorination of a fatty acid ester from (1) a 1-18C mono (or higher) hydric alcohol such as ethylene glycol and (2) a 2-25C straight chain or branched chain monovalent or divalent fatty acid such as acetic acid and (C) 0.01-25 pts.wt. of an epoxy compound such as propylene glycol diglycidyl ether. |
