PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material having good color forming sensitivity and imparting a developed color image enhanced in storage stability such as hydrothermal resistance, water resistance or oil resistance by adding an oxazole compound to the thermal recording material containing an electron donating compound and an electron acceptive compound. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of an oxazole compound is added to a thermal recording material containing an electron donating color forming compound and an electron acceptive compound. Herein, the oxazole compound to be used is substituted with at least one kind of an aryl group and selected from a group consisting of 5-aryloxazole compound, 2,4-diaryloxazole compound, 2,5- diaryloxazole compound, 4,5-diaryloxazole compound, 2,4,5-triaryloxazole compound and 2-arylbenzoxazole compound. |
