PURPOSE:To obtain a corner protector having thickness of four layers of corrugated board as a corner protector to protect a corner of a matter constituted of three rectangular faces sharing one angle, by a method wherein the three faces are formed of one sheet which includes twelve faces formed in four-layered three groups, while each group is connected through one of the four layers. CONSTITUTION:A protector protects a corner of a matter constituted of three rectangular faces sharing one angle. In this instance, the three faces are formed of one sheet which includes twelve faces formed in four-layered three groups, while each group is connected through one of the four layers. In assembly, at first respective bending lines 18, 20 and 21 are bent up so that respective faces 1 and 2 are doubled. On the other hand, respective bending lines 29 and 30 are bent down so that respective pairs of faces 10 and 13, 6 and 15, and 11 and 14 are doubled. Then respective pairs of bending lines 24 and 32, and 28 and 31, and respective bending lines 25, 22 and 23 are bent down so that respective faces 6 and 10 are covered with respective faces 7 and 4 and a piece 54. Further, the bending line 21 is bent down so that the respective faces 1 and 2 are doubled over the respective faces 11 and 14, whereby a four-layer structure is obtained. Respective bending lines 26 and 27 are bent down, and finally a part 17 of a face 8 is inserted into an insertion hole 16. |
