<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the laminate excellent in dimension stability by a method in which the glass cloth which has the specified tensile strength for warp and weft and the specified weight ratio of the warp to the weft is impregnated with thermosetting resin varnish and is dried, and then after prepregs have been obtained, the prescribed number of the prepregs are laminated. CONSTITUTION:The glass cloth in which its tensile strength in the direction of 45 deg. to waft and weft is at most 20kg/25mm, and the weight ratio of the weft to the warp is in the range of 0.8-1.2, is provided. The glass cloth is impregnated with the thermosetting resin varnish such as epoxy resin and is dried, thereby forming a prepreg. Then, the prescribed number of the prepregs are laminated, and a laminate is produced. Yarns are preliminarily untwisted, and the glass cloth obtained by wearing said yarns is further untwisted, and then the glass-woven cloth with the air permeability of at most 3cc/cm<2>/sec, is used. Consequently, the copper-plated laminate, etc., in which the minimization of the anisotropy of the dimension shrinkage in lateral and longitudinal directions may be compatible with the minimization of the shift of coordinate, are obtained.</p> |
