PURPOSE:To produce easily a sheetlike object excellent in rubber elastic stretchability-recovery, etc., by a method in which nonwoven fabric of polyurethane elastic filament is used as the component of fibrous base material, and while under elongated state, unelastic short fibers are laminated thereon and are slipped to be filled with elastic polymer. CONSTITUTION:A sheetlike object is constructed by filling a napped sheet with elastic polymer. Then, the napped sheet is constructed by laminating polyurethan elastic filament (A) on unelastic filament (B). The joint of the laminated polyurethane filament (A) is welded by the filament (A) itself. Further, the unelastic fibers (B) are untwisted by laminating unelastic short fibers (D) on the fiber sheet laminated over a length at least twice the length prevailing under no tension between the joints of the polyurethane elastic filament (A). On one hand, 50% elongation recovery of 80-100% is given to the sheetlike object. The layer filled with elastic polymer is buffed and then it is napped. |
