<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting of a threshold value and prevent influence due to the entry of dust, muddy water and external light, and the like. CONSTITUTION:A light projecting part 22 and a light receiving part 24 are respectively accommodated in a light projecting side casing and a light receiving side casing 30. First optical fibers 28 are inserted into a part of the light projecting side casing, and second optical fibers 32 are inserted into a part of the light receiving side casing 30; and the middle part is bundled in the approximately parallel state to form a harness part 34. The harness part 34 is disposed between blade parts 36, 38. When an outer panel 12 is deformed at the impact input time, the blade parts 36, 38 are moved in the relatively approaching direction to rupture the harness part 34. When the harness part 34 is ruptured, the light of the light projecting part 22 leaks from the ruptured face of the first optical fibers 28. This leaked light is inputted from the ruptured face of the second optical fibers 32, so that the light of the light projecting part 22 is received by the light receiving part 24.</p> |
