PURPOSE:To enable developing speed of only a blue sensitive emulsion layer to rise selectively and an image of good color balance to be always obtained, by adding substantially nondevelopable low sensitivity silver halide grains to the blue sensitive emulsion layer slowest in developing rate. CONSTITUTION:In the titled printing paper a photosensitive emulsion layer nearest to a support is a blue sensitive emulsion layer containing silver halide grains of mean grain diameter >= about 0.6mu, while the mean grain diameter of silver halide grains of green and red sensitive emulsion layers is <= about 0.5mu, and about 0.1-5mg (in terms of silver)/100cm<2> low sensitivity silver halide of 0.05-3mu mean grain diameter is added to the blue sensitive emulsion layer or its adjacent layer. Said silver halide contains >=60mol% silver chloride. |
