<p>PURPOSE:To provide a radiation thickness measuring device reducing the floor area occupied by multiple radiation generation sections and radiation detection sections, capable of being installed between rolling mills, and having high measurement precision of plate thickness of the cross section of a rolled plate. CONSTITUTION:A rail 6A is provided at the upper section of a U-shaped frame 2, a rail 6B is provided at the lower section, radiation generation sections 10A1, 10A2, 10A3 are fitted to the rail 6A, and radiation detection sections 10B1, 10B2, 10B3 are fitted to the rail 6B. A left screw bar 5A1 and a right screw bar 5B2 are provided in parallel with the rails 6A, 6B on the rail 6A. A main motor 3 is provided on the left side of the frame 2, and it is connected to left screw bars 5A1, 5B1 via connecting shafts 4A, 4B.</p> |
