PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence on differential limiting function of thrust force by coupling one of hubs in a pair, which are coupled to axles respectively, with a pinion carrier freely of axial shifting by the output member of a differential mechanism, and enabling each hub to be positioned in a differential case with a positioning means. CONSTITUTION:Right and left hubs 31 and 33 are arranged rotatably inside a differential case 21, which is pivoted rotatably inside the differential carrier (not shown in the figure) of a rear differential 7 and to which the rotation of a drive pinion gear is transmitted, and a bearing 35 is arranged between each hub 31 and 33. Moreover, thrust washers 37 and 39 are arranged between the differential case 21 and each hub 31 and 33, and a positioning means is constituted of these thrust washers 37 and 39 and the bearing 35, and the hubs 31 and 33 are positioned to the differential case 21. Moreover, each hub 31 and 33 are coupled with right and left rear axles by spline, and also are positioned in axial direction to the right and left rear axles by the stop rings installed in each circumferential groove 41 and 43.
