<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet after-processing device capable of sorting and receiving the number of sheets more than the number of bill trays by shifting a registering means to a first registering position corresponding to a first registration and a second registering position corresponding to a second registration with a control means to offset and divide every sheet bundle in a space. CONSTITUTION:When the number of sheets to form an image exceeds the number of bill trays, a 21st sheet is ejected onto a first sheet bundle mounted on the first bill tray and a registering rod 19 turned by a pulse motor brings about the registration of a shift amount which is smaller by an amount (k) than that up to the 20th sheet. That is, the shift amount of the registering rod 19 up to the 20th sheet has a value sufficient to thrust the side end of sheet against a reference member 10, while the shift amount of the registering rod is set to keep the sheet side end by the offset amount (k) away from a reference member 10 so that the sheet bundle up to the 20th sheet can be sorted from the sheets on and after the 21st one mounted thereon. Further, this device can be constituted compactly simply.</p> |
